About Me

A Lifelong Commitment to Humanitarian Service

I am a self-directed and self-motivated social worker, solely dedicated to the treatment, empowerment, and upliftment of differently-abled and destitute individuals. Known for my efforts to alleviate the suffering of those in need, I draw my values, beliefs, and passion for helping people from my father, Guru Kailash ‘Manav’ Ji. He founded Narayan Seva Sansthan with the purpose of aiding people. I carry forward his dreams and vision, believing in organizing and executing all tasks in a creative manner. This approach allows me to work effectively with a large team of medical professionals, counselors, and staff.

Narayan Seva Sansthan

Narayan Seva Sansthan was founded on October 23, 1985, by Padma Shri Kailash ‘Manav’ Ji, who was then working in the Indian Postal and Telegraph Department. A poignant incident occurred when he saw a patient in a government hospital eat one piece of bread and save the rest under his pillow for his family. Deeply moved, Kailash Ji decided to provide meals for patients and their families in hospitals. He purchased 20 oil cans, cleaned them, and requested families to contribute a handful of flour daily. This initiative continued for 13 years, providing meals to hospital patients’ families.

In 1987, a severe famine hit Rajasthan, leading people to extreme measures for survival. Kailash Ji organized relief efforts, including distributing food, clothing, and medical aid. He provided essential services and brought seriously ill individuals to Udaipur for treatment. A transformative moment came when he saw children with polio and arranged for their treatment in Mumbai. Inspired, he established a 51-bed hospital in Udaipur, which has now grown to 1,100 beds, offering free surgeries to 441,900 differently-abled patients.

The organization also provides vocational training in various fields, empowering individuals financially and socially. To date, 2,357 couples have been married through the institution’s mass wedding ceremonies, and countless assistive devices and vocational training opportunities have been provided.

As President of Narayan Seva Sansthan

In 2010, I was unanimously elected as the president of Narayan Seva Sansthan. Since then, I have been leading a large team to uplift the underprivileged, helpless, and differently-abled people.

Inspiration to Become a Social Worker

From a young age, I was blessed with the opportunity to meet saints, gurus, and scholars, which deepened my interest in spirituality and human service. I studied religious texts and engaged in discussions about life philosophy and altruism, which inspired me to pursue the path of service.
